About
BEGINNING
My name is Beckett Pasqua. When I was younger, I had no hobbies. There wasn’t a single “thing” that invigorated me. That always bothered me. Then, in 2022, I discovered writing. Not writing essays for school—writing for myself. For the past four years, I’ve been exploring the arts, one step at a time. First it was writing. Then came filmmaking. Then drawing. And now, it’s everything. I find myself chasing every creative medium I can. All of it gives me more satisfaction than anything else. Which is why I’m going all in.
BUILDING
I was accepted into NYU and Emerson College for the Fall 2026 term. Due to cost, I declined, and am obtaining my associate degree at community college. I will reapply to both as a transfer student in Fall 2027. Between these two choices—whether it’s Boston or New York City—my goal will always be to expand connections, develop skills, and simply create more.
WHY I MAKE
Screenplays and art are never just objects. I aim for my work to transcend through film, theater, and visual art as a vessel of emotion. I want my work to help people understand themselves—and each other—a bit more kindly. Art helps us, but never completely, answer the question of what it means to be human.
